Moon in Cancer

639,00

Bathed in the quiet glow of the moon, this handcrafted assemblage sculpture explores the profound symbolism of Cancer—the zodiac sign ruled by the Moon and deeply connected to intuition, emotion, protection, and the rhythms of nature.

Encased within a weathered circular frame reminiscent of an ancient astrolabe or sacred relic, the crab bears the constellation of Cancer upon its shell, linking the terrestrial with the celestial.
Above it rests a natural selenite sphere, a crystal long associated with moonlight, clarity, and inner reflection. When illuminated, the sculpture emits a soft, ethereal glow, transforming it into both artwork and light object.

Created from found objects and mixed media, every fragment has been carefully assembled to evoke the feeling of an archaeological discovery—an artifact from an imagined civilization where astronomy, mythology, alchemy, and the sea were inseparable.
